How do I navigate Sportsgazelle.com?

The Home page of SG is a simple, two column blog. The left column has all the articles, photos, videos, etc. The newest posts are the first one’s you’ll see. Scroll down and look to the right – you’ll find other ways to locate the posts that capture your interests. You will find listings of Recent Posts, Categories (these are all the sports we’ve covered), and even Archives by month. You can click on any item in these three groups to view all of the posts that fit the item. Lastly, you can always use the “Search” bar located at the upper right. Enter terms such as a school and a sport, or the name of an athlete, for example. Click “Search” and you will get a list of all of the posts relevant to your search terms.

When should I look at Sportsgazelle.com?

The Weekly Calendar page tells you when new posts are uploaded to the site. Currently, SG is going to a few different sporting events every week. (It’d be nice if I could hit all of them, but I’ve got a full work schedue and I still want to make each post really good!) The bottom line is that fresh, original content is uploaded (at least) every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. And that’s only the minimum — I often publish more. Nonetheless, if you keep checking the site on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, you will find the newest posts. Even if the posts go up late in the day, you’ll still be entertained by the Archives you may have missed!

Sportsgazelle.com covers a lot of student athletics. Does that mean the schedule changes in the summer?

Not at all. The same varsity athletes that you read about during the school year are active in summer leagues, tryouts, and camps. SG is the place to follow them. Also, for any students wishing to write as SG Interns, this is a good time to get involved and see if you like writing sports. None of our local athletes shut down during the summer, so why should SG? Enjoy the coverage, year round.

I have another question that isn’t on this list. How can I contact SG to ask it?

Feel free to e-mail the admin: cara@sportsgazelle.com. It doesn’t usually take more than 1 business day to get a response.
